𝙂𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙤𝙜𝙨: possibly with proper introduction.
Meet Willow! She came to us recently and was a bit timid, but in no time she was warming up to us! She is a very vocal pup when you first meet her, but don’t let that bark scare you! She is a playful girl with big puppy energy and has found a love for ALL toys!
She is still in need of some basic training as she is a little bit jumpy, but she is very smart and will learn very fast with someone patient. We believe she would do best in a calm home, but also with active humans that would take her for adventures and keep her busy! We have noticed she seems to fearful of men, but we believe that proper introduction is everything and that she will soon learn that there are good humans out there🤍
If Willow sounds like the perfect fit for your home, stop by and have a visit with her or take her for a walk!🐾

Neo is the male of the duo and he is very sweet and fun-loving. He loves getting attention once he is done goofing around and playing with his sister and our other two dogs. Neo and Kirby both LOVE being around our 8 and 11 year old kids! He seems to want to spend all of his time outside, running and playing in and around water. Neo is a very large dog, but has been improving quickly on not jumping up!

From their foster:
Kirby is the female and the protective one of the two. It didn’t take long for Kirby and our dog to start getting along though, and our male dog even changed his playing behavior to match hers. Kirby is very independent, loving and strong willed. We have been working with her to sit as she likes to jump up on us (also on our kids like Neo), and she has picked up sitting on command very quickly, especially when offered treats 😉. Kirby also loves to be outside and in the water like her brother.

Atticus
Atticus (Case #24-91)
Breed: Staffordshire Terrier
Age: 6 years
Sex: Male
Activity Level: medium
At the Shelter Since: May 2024
Gets Along with kids: Older Kids
Gets Along with dogs: Possibly with proper introduction
Gets Along with cats: No
Atticus is a 6 year old dog who still has the energy of a puppy! 🐶He is eager to get outside and play at all times. He is walking great on the leash and is learning manners quickly. He is still a bit of a bouncy boy who likes to jump up, but has been working on it! He is treat motivated and is eager to please which will make training so much smoother with him! He is a little lovebug who simply wants to spend time with his favorite people. He is very excited to get out and walk, but once he gets all that energy out, his favorite things is to curl up on the couch for some snuggles and a good nap! 💤
After a long healing period, Atticus is finally ready to find a home! He underwent an FHO surgery short after arriving, and is feeling much better, though he may always have a little bit of a limp due to the injury he had previously.
We think Atti would do best as an only dog in the home as he tends to resource guard from other animals a bit, though he has no issue with people!
Does your home sound like a great fit for Atticus? Stop by the shelter and take him for a walk and get to know him! 🐾🐕

Hi, my name is Chex, like Christmas/Reindeer Chex mix. I’m currently living on a farm with my litter mate (Cane) and foster dog sister, who we are starting to learn to play with. There’s also two house cats, one that we like to play with and one that we bark at because he doesn’t like us. Since we live on a farm our foster mom usually takes us to do chores, we get to see the donkey, horse, goats, chickens and ducks. My foster mom thinks I’m smart because I listen and learn quickly, like sitting and learning patience. We do a lot of sitting, sitting for food/treats and to be let out of the kennels. I’m usually a little shy or nervous about trying new things like stairs or meeting new people, but once I’ve done it I’m good to go! I also have to sleep in a kennel at night and it’s going pretty good, but sometimes I still cry. Oh, I also like to cuddle and sleep but I’m not as big of a sleeper as my bother. As for potty training I think it’s going good, we have a pretty good routine but I still have the occasional accident. I am a puppy after all!
Adoption fee is $395; $100 spay/neuter deposit added for any animal under vet recommended age. Adoption fee includes spay/ neuter, age appropriate vaccines (boosters may be required at your own expense), age appropriate deworming (additional deworming may be needed depending on the life stage of the animal), and a 7 day complimentary vet exam at any Prairie Animal Health Center location.

Murphy (Case #24-222)
Breed: Pembroke Welsh Corgi
Age: 1 Year
Sex: Male
Activity Level: High
At the Shelter Since: December 2024
Gets Along with kids: yes
Gets Along with dogs: with proper introduction
Gets Along with cats: with proper introduction, he gets a big excited about the cats!
Meet Murphy!
Murphy was surrendered due to no fault of his own, and is looking for a home that will meet his needs as he is quite the energetic pup. This little guy is full of energy and ready to go to a home where he will have lots to do and get lots of attention!
He is a bit jumpy as he gets excited quick, but he does over come that once he gets his initial zoomies out. He is very smart and a very confident pup. He is doing great on a leash and absolutely loves to get out for a walk. Overall he is a great puppy and we would love to see him go to an active home that can keep up with his need for adventure and exercise!

Meet Lilith♡
This sweet girl came to us back in February and has been working very hard on trusting humans. She came in thin, very scared and weary of everyone, but after a couple weeks of gaining her trust she has become a completely different kitty!🐾
She is curious of other cats, but is still working on her confidence around them. We think potentially with slow introduction she could definitely live with another feline.
She is timid in new environments and really does need someone who would be patient with her and give her the time she needed to decompress. She is very affectionate when she warms up and has been showing interest in playing now!
Lilith's dream home would be somewhere calm and quiet where she could curl up in her favourite bed and watch the world, but also get some attention here there of course♡

Asia is a character. She gets the zoomies with her toys and is always quick to greet you with purrs and a big ol’ butt lift. She likes to cuddle with her human, she’s fallen asleep on my hand/arm more times than I can count, and she loves her lap cuddles. She loves other cats and definitely needs a home with a sibling or two, unless she can convince you to also adopt her very best friend Velcro. She was extremely frightened when she came into our care and he has been her safety blanket and helped her come out of her shell so much. She can be pretty skittish as the indoor life is still new to her. She’ll need patience, love, and some time to adapt to her new environment before her personality will really show, but trust me, she is SO worth the wait.

Meet Sonic! This little guy is independent, but loves to curl up with his siblings. Though timid at first, he was the first to adapt to the new surroundings and greet us on his own. He is a bit shy, but has doing very well with socializing with the staff, starting to approach them more freely! We think he will do best with another Feline in the household to help him continue to build his confidence.

Hi everyone I’m Izzy, I’m the most delightful kitten around …. when I’m asleep , my foster mom said Most of the time I’m “ busy Izzy”, running , playing, catching and exploring. My right eyelid is a little lazy, maybe due to an injury when I was born but the vet did an entire eye exam and I can see perfectly fine. I think it just adds to my charming personality. I really liked the big dog in my foster home, the other cats too . I’m hoping to find an active household with lots to do around the house.

Hi everyone I’m Izzy, I’m the most delightful kitten around …. when I’m asleep , my foster mom said Most of the time I’m “ busy Izzy”, running , playing, catching and exploring. Meet Panther!
He is an energetic kitten who has a full battery 90% of the time! He loves to jump and climb, play time always being his favourite. He has moments where he doesn't mind being held, but he definitely prefers to play! He would benefit from another playful fur sibling to help drain some of his energy! He is a bit of a rough player which he will eventually grow out of it with proper correction!
Adopt Panther during November of 2024 and his adoption fee is only $75!

Speck is a curious boy who came to us as a semi feral stray. He was pretty sick when he arrived, but is doing much better! He has a bit of an eye injury that he came in with, but has been to the vet a few times and it so far is superficial and not causing him pain. His eye requires a bit of wiping as it runs every now and again, but other than that he is healthy and ready to find a home!
He still has a bit of wild in him and plays rough, so we think he would do best in a home with no little ones! He would be a great fit as a shop cat as he is independent and we think he would be a great mouser! He would do good in a calm household where he can lounge and relax as he is often found curled up in a comfy bed.

Jimmy came to us very scared, but each day he opens up a bit more. He is very timid when it comes to change, but when you do sit with him for a bit, he slolwy starts to relax. He loves to be pet and soaks in all the affection as long as you move at his pace, slow approaches are better for him at this time. He will grow to be such a sweet boy with patience as his confidence develops at his own pace♡
