Meet Willow! She came to us recently and was a bit timid, but in no time she was warming up to us! She is a very vocal pup when you first meet her, but don’t let that bark scare you! She is a playful girl with big puppy energy and has found a love for ALL toys!
She is still in need of some basic training as she is a little bit jumpy, but she is very smart and will learn very fast with someone patient. We believe she would do best in a calm home, but also with active humans that would take her for adventures and keep her busy! We have noticed she seems to fearful of men, but we believe that proper introduction is everything and that she will soon learn that there are good humans out there🤍
If Willow sounds like the perfect fit for your home, stop by and have a visit with her or take her for a walk!🐾

Atticus is a 6 year old dog who still has the energy of a puppy! 🐶He is eager to get outside and play at all times. He is walking great on the leash and is learning manners quickly. He is still a bit of a bouncy boy who likes to jump up, but has been working on it! He is treat motivated and is eager to please which will make training so much smoother with him! He is a little lovebug who simply wants to spend time with his favorite people. He is very excited to get out and walk, but once he gets all that energy out, his favorite things is to curl up on the couch for some snuggles and a good nap! 💤
After a long healing period, Atticus is finally ready to find a home! He underwent an FHO surgery short after arriving, and is feeling much better, though he may always have a little bit of a limp due to the injury he had previously.
We think Atti would do best as an only dog in the home as he tends to resource guard from other animals a bit, though he has no issue with people!
Does your home sound like a great fit for Atticus? Stop by the shelter and take him for a walk and get to know him! 🐾🐕

This sweetheart is Lucy! She is an energetic and eager to please dog that is still in touch with her puppy side! She is still a bit jumpy, but only because she is so excited to see you! She loves to have treats tossed to her, jumping to catch them and succeeding each time!
Her leash manners are coming along great and she is enjoying the walks with out volunteers. She is learning not to pull, but will be a pro in no time as she is so smart! She loves to spend time in the yard with Bear and is looking for a home where they can go on adventures together!
Stop by and take sweet Lucy for a walk anytime during our open hours.🐶

Lucky is the sweetest, toughest, and most well behaved little girl. She doesn’t let three legs slow her down, as she been enjoying farm life to fullest and would rather be outside sniffing around, doing chores or lounging on the deck. She loves to curl up on a blankie on the floor. Lucky knows how to sit and sleeps through the night in her kennel with no problems. And potty training is going great. She’s been great with kids. Lucky gets along with cats and other dogs and for a young dog is good at setting her boundaries already. She’s great in the vehicle as she curls up and falls asleep. She’s not big on cuddles as she’d rather play but loves attention. Keep watching for Lucky to become adoptable!
Adoption fee is $395; $100 spay/neuter deposit added for any animal under vet recommended age. Adoption fee includes spay/ neuter, age-appropriate vaccines (boosters may be required at your own expense), age appropriate deworming (additional deworming may be needed depending on the life stage of the animal), and a 7 day complimentary vet exam at any Prairie Animal Health Center location.

Meet Lilith♡
This sweet girl came to us back in February and has been working very hard on trusting humans. She came in thin, very scared and weary of everyone, but after a couple weeks of gaining her trust she has become a completely different kitty!🐾
She is curious of other cats, but is still working on her confidence around them. We think potentially with slow introduction she could definitely live with another feline.
She is timid in new environments and really does need someone who would be patient with her and give her the time she needed to decompress. She is very affectionate when she warms up and has been showing interest in playing now!
Lilith's dream home would be somewhere calm and quiet where she could curl up in her favourite bed and watch the world, but also get some attention here there of course♡

Hi everyone I’m Izzy, I’m the most delightful kitten around …. when I’m asleep , my foster mom said Most of the time I’m “ busy Izzy”, running , playing, catching and exploring. My right eyelid is a little lazy, maybe due to an injury when I was born but the vet did an entire eye exam and I can see perfectly fine. I think it just adds to my charming personality. I really liked the big dog in my foster home, the other cats too . I’m hoping to find an active household with lots to do around the house.

Speck is a curious boy who came to us as a semi feral stray. He was pretty sick when he arrived, but is doing much better! He has a bit of an eye injury that he came in with, but has been to the vet a few times and it so far is superficial and not causing him pain. His eye requires a bit of wiping as it runs every now and again, but other than that he is healthy and ready to find a home!
He still has a bit of wild in him and plays rough, so we think he would do best in a home with no little ones! He would be a great fit as a shop cat as he is independent and we think he would be a great mouser! He would do good in a calm household where he can lounge and relax as he is often found curled up in a comfy bed.

Juno is an independent girl. She doesn't overly care to play, but she loves to explore the cat room and is curious about everything new. She is an absolute love bug who will accept all the cuddles and affection you offer.
She is a bit nervous in new environments still, so it takes a while for her to approach you, but as soon as she finds the confidence to do that, she is full of love! Most of the time you can find her curled up with her sister Jude, her best friend♡

Jude is a quiet kitty who tends to keep to herself. The only exception to that is her sister Juno who she is often snuggled up to most hours of the day. She is a bit nervous about change, but she doesn't pass up any affection either. We think with a patient home and the company of her sister that she will bloom into a sweet and confident kitty in no time!

Link was very sick when he came in, but no matter how sick he was he consistently had an upbeat attitude and was always trying to play! Now that he is healthy and has regained his strength, he loves to play his little heart out with. Even though he is very playful he also enjoys a good cuddle session. Butterball was brought in as a stray and it was apparent he wasn’t thriving as an outside kitty. He was in rough shape, but he is on the mend and getting better each day. He chirps for attention and loves to be pet. His eyes are as gentle as his soul. So far he has shown a lot of interest in other cats and is curious about other animals, so we think he will do well with other pets! If you are interested in Butterball, feel free to stop by during our visiting hours to say hi!

Meatball is a big boy who loves to just loaf around. He is an amazing cuddle buddy and loves to be near you. He has a big purrsonality and can be a little sassy at times, but it just adds to his special Meatball charm. He is an absolute cutie and is totally content to just hang around you all day. Bertha is an affectionate cat who likes the simple things in life! Her easy going attitude and overall calm demeanor would make her the great for anyone wanting to add a furry companion to their home, but isn’t wanting the energy of a kitten! She is happy to just curl up in bed and watch from her comfy spot, but due to her lazy lifestyle, she is going to require some diet food and the occasional exercise/playtime! She is affectionate and happy to receive all the love you will give her!

Meowie is one of the most laid back kitties you're ever gonna meet! He was a local stray for quite some time, but due to some injuries he was brought to us and now we would love to see him find a safe home to spend his life in.
Meowie got his name for a very simple reason, he is an extremely vocal kitty who will talk to you all day long! He loves attention and makes himself at home everywhere he goes.
